Genevieve Leaper is a freelance photographer and writer based in the northeast of Scotland, specialising in the following areas:-

landscapes, natural history, conservation & environment, marine subjects and outdoor pursuits

Currently her slide collection stands at around 15,000 images. Articles and pictures have been published in a wide variety of magazines, including Birds, Bird Life, Scottish Wildlife, Country Talk, Outdoors Illustrated, The Rambler, The Scots Magazine, High, Classic Boat, Yachting Monthly, Practical Boat Owner, Sailing Today, Motor Boat & Yachting, Sea Breezes, Boards, Afloat (Irish Sailing Association magazine), Flagship (Air UK inflight magazine), Amateur Photographer, Practical Photography.

Other clients include Readers Digest Books, Stirling Gallery, Images & Editions, Scottish Natural Heritage. Genevieve's work is also represented by Ecoscene, RSPB Images and Skyscan picture libraries.

Genevieve has a degree in Zoology and also undertakes scientific writing and survey contracts: previous clients include Joint Nature Conservation Committee, Scottish Natural Heritage, Royal Society for the Protection of Birds, Cairngorms Partnership and Netherlands National Institute for Coastal & Marine Management.

Commissions are welcomed for both photographic work and writing.
